Default Damage Speed Buffs Don't stack?

I was unsure of the answer, so I tested it; damage speed buffs do not stack.
Is it supposed to be this way? Seems to make some things useless.
Seems odd to me since it is not worded that way.

The question: Does anyone know if this is intentional, or not?


Any info, or a point in the right direction would be helpful.

I believe they stack up to a maximum of 33%. Some of them already have 33% already, so...

I think they made it that way because people were stacking frenzy and IWAY, not sure exactly.

I'm quite sure it's completely intentional. Otherwise, by using 3 IAS skills, you'd get 100 times the DPS (99% reduction in attack recovery time).

To have them stack would completely break the game, given just how many speed-increase type skills there are.

I'm sure its the same with running. I've used Dash on top of "Charge!" before (the latter from a Fighter Henchie and the Dash is my own).... and the Dash speed is the same with or without that other effect...

When did they change it? I remember being able to stack "Charge!" with sprint (one being a stance and the other a shout). It caused a noticable visual increase in speed, too.

I'm also pretty sure that it is intentional, in the same way as you cant have too high helth regeneration/degeneration. It'd mess up the game

They've never been stackable for me.... so that means the change was before Nightfall at least.

You've always been able to stack them up to 33%. Individual skills such as Dash can go beyond the caps.
